You Don’t Know How I Feel: The Inner World I Hide

Have you ever felt like no one really understands what’s going on in your head? Like no matter how much you try to explain, people just don’t get it? Well, my friend, welcome to the club. We all have an inner world that we hide from the outside world – a place where our thoughts and emotions run wild. In this article, we’ll explore some of the things that might be going on inside your head that others can’t see.

The Inner Turmoil

Sometimes I feel like there’s a little voice inside my head that won’t shut up. It tells me all sorts of things – some good and some bad. But mostly bad. It whispers doubts about myself and my abilities; it questions whether anyone actually likes me or if they’re just pretending; it tells me that everyone is secretly judging me for every little thing I do.

And here’s the kicker: sometimes I believe it! That little voice is so convincing that even though deep down I know it isn’t true, in those moments everything feels so overwhelming that logic goes out the window.

Behind Closed Doors

When you look at someone from the outside, you only see what they want you to see. We all have different “faces” we put on depending on who we’re with or where we are – maybe at work we act professional and reserved while with friends we let loose and goof around.

But behind closed doors? All bets are off – anything goes! Maybe when no one is watching you dance around in your underwear singing show tunes at full volume (not saying I do this… okay fine, yes I do). Or maybe when something sets us off emotionally – like receiving disappointing news or dealing with a difficult situation – suddenly explosions happen without warning!

Invisible Scars

Physical wounds heal over time, but sometimes the emotional ones never truly disappear. People, including me, can carry around scars from past traumas or experiences that may not be obvious to others. These invisible wounds are often the hardest to deal with because they’re so personal and intimate.

It’s like having a secret you don’t want anyone else to know because it makes you feel vulnerable. It’s hard enough dealing with these things yourself- opening up about them feels next-level intimidating.

The Anxiety Factor

Anxiety is becoming more common among people today as responsibilities keep piling up and uncertainty prevails in everyday life. Behind closed doors, those suffering from anxiety often find themselves worrying about each and every decision they make throughout their day- what if its wrong? What does this mean for your long-term goals?

Those struggling often face an overbearing sense of worry that isn’t visible on the outside though it can lead to severe consequences on quality of life such as losing sleep, appetite etc…

The Unspoken Truths

Just because someone doesn’t talk about something doesn’t mean it isn’t affecting them! Lots of things might go unsaid within work environments due to professional standards or around friends/family where one tries maintaining peace by respectively listening instead.

However – this silence isn’t always consistent; there come times when I just have get whatever has been eating away at me off my chest usually followed by questioning myself “Did I say too much?”

Escaping Reality

When life gets tough (or even when we’re simply bored), we seek refuge in our own worlds- some of us do so through hobbies while others indulge in “escape” forms like series binging or gaming…

But sometimes playing certain games serve as therapeutic means too! They become an alternate medium for self-expression & exploration unlike any other – without needing words gamers smoothly immerse themselves into another world which works wonders when real-life becomes unbearable!

In Closing

These are but few issues people deal with on daily basis that go undetected for the most part. It’s hard dealing with ones self in itself – and then trying to maintain an image misleading those around you into believing you’ve got it all together / under control is no walk in the park either!

It’s important to understand that everyone has their own demons within them, and learning how to handle or at least live with them can be a difficult journey.

So let me leave you today by saying: Be understanding of each other’s struggles; offer empathy from time-to-time reminding yourself we all have something very personal going on!
