Why school is bad for students?

Are you tired of waking up early every day to attend school? Do you hate the long hours sitting in class and listening to boring lectures that never seem to end? Well, my friend, you are not alone. In this article, we will explore several compelling reasons why school is bad for students.

It’s Too Damn Early

Let’s face it; humans were never meant to wake up before the sun rises. However, schools have forced us into a routine where we wake up at ungodly hours like 5 or 6 AM just so that we can catch the bus or make it on time for the assembly. This sleep deprivation affects our energy levels throughout the day and impacts our memory retention abilities during classes.

One Size Fits All Education

Schools operate under a one-size-fits-all curriculum which presumes that every student has identical learning interests and capabilities. But what if I told you some kids prefer arts over science? Or others learn better by hands-on experience rather than textbooks? Unfortunately, teachers often cannot cater their lessons uniquely because they have too many students with varying learning styles.

A Multitude of Tests and Exams…

The constant barrage of tests and examinations also means school lacks most aspects of creativity/freedom despite actively pushing such things into their program descriptions. The primary aim becomes passing tests through harsh study sessions,. Consequently, negatively affecting young people’s potential development as fully-functioning human beings.

Non-Stop Homework Assignments…

Moreover, students encounter excessive homework assignments, further detracting from social activities /even basic rest requirements after hard work weeks packed with numerous tasks.

Compulsory Attendance

Did you know that in America (and other countries), education is compulsory until reaching mid-teens age range? That means even if people despise going or aren’t interested/curious in particular subjects taught there was still no alternative option. Students are left at schools from morning till afternoon hours, even if they achieve nothing but boredom in classes for days on end.

School Is Prison-Like

Don’t believe me? Look around the high school campuses that can resemble correctional facilities with numerous rules and regulations like detainments during holidays or no mobile phone usage allowed. I know if I were a student,I would be remiss to say the learning environment is entirely conducive to positive attitudes/motivation!

The Uncharted Terrain Of Social Pressure

Schools are breeding grounds for social elitism whereby ambitious students work tirelessly just to attain approval of their peers/successful individuals from community/foreign students without concern for personal fulfillment.Communication pressure enforced within classroom walls undermines dialogue /negates non-Judeo-Christian religious understanding.

Not Enough Casual Interaction…

Often, school’s most significant harm does not register until much later as anxiety/depression related troubles become evident.Home Study has potential alleviate this downside.However,school-leavers often bemoan lack creative space/time due too heavy studying demands. Also, this leaves a mark on impressionable & critical years where humans should slowly build independence goals .

Underestimation Of Bullying’s Impact

Furthermore, bully culture present every institution contributes toward mental health issues, ranging from adverse stress levels to full-blown mental disorder occurrences among teenagers/counselling services thus many kids feel lonely.I find it hard notto negatively approach such negative behaviours when experienced by innocent members who affect future leaders either politically or economically.

Conclusion

In conclusion, schools trap young people in an unnecessarily long waste of time while subjecting them untold number experience traumas without appreciation consequences which then can manifest into adult life. You might say society could adopt more mindful practices through embracing digital educational innovations hence improving integration of technology into educational curriculum.
