Who owns bosley hair restoration?

Do you ever look at your hair in the mirror and say, “Wow. I really need to do something about this?” Maybe it’s getting a bit thin on top or maybe it’s been receding faster than a high tide. Whatever the issue, there is one name that comes up again and again when talking about hair restoration – Bosley.

But who owns this magical company? How did they come into existence? And what makes them so special (besides their ability to make baldness less prevalent)?

Let’s take a closer look at the people behind Bosley Hair Restoration:

The Founding Fathers of Follicle Fun

Bosley may be a well-known brand today but back in 1974, things were very different. Two men named Dr. L.O. Jones and his partner Jerry Spivak decided that follicular transplants could be an industry-changing breakthrough if only they could figure out how to perfect the process.

Well, after lots of research and experimentation (and probably some mild suffering by willing test subjects), they managed to do just that! They founded Medical Hair Restoration Inc., which was later renamed as Bosley Medical Group.

And thus began their mission – helping people reclaim their crowning glories with some good old-fashioned hair-transplanity (not sure if that’s an actual word).

The New Owner Takes Over

In 2018, Aderans Co., Ltd acquired all shares of Bosley. Aderans Co., Ltd is also known for owning other businesses related to beauty such as shampoo products.Together, these companies form a veritable swamp of skincare sort-of-thingamajigs.

While we don’t know exactly what led Aderans’ acquisition path towards buying out Bosely specifically, we’re pleased as beeswax knowing our go-to company for follicle farmovers is in good hands.

Who, Exactly, are Aderans?

To those of you with a penchant for follicles and lengthy company names – an introduction to your new overlords.

Aderans Co., Ltd was founded in 1968 by Yoshio Kaneko (We don’t know him but apparently he’s quite famous). The company has headquarters located all over Japan with branches scattered internationally throughout Asia, Europe and the United States. They specialize in research on human hair and development of effective treatments against hair loss caused by aging (which we certainly will deny the need for).

Often confused as being only associated with Bosley because of their acquisition, Aderan includes two other major brands – “Super Million Hair” which is focused on concealers that stick to thinning areas your head and “Prosthetic Solutions”, which deals specifically with prostheses related to facial features or scalp conditions.

(Perhaps now might be a great time for a fresh haircut?)

What Sets Bosley Apart From Other Hair Restoration Companies?

Glad you asked! While there are many options out there when it comes to restoring lost strands of magic growth from heads around the world; what makes Bosley oh-so-special compared others?

Here’s why:

Experience

Bosley has been performing hair transplantation procedures since 1974. That’s some solid expertise right there!

High Standards

When it comes to these types of procedures,Bosley does not compromise quality work. They ensure they use modernized techniques along with special tools designed explicitly for this type so that everything runs smooth like butter.

Variety Of Procedures

Aside from standard transplants via FUT strip or individual follicular extractions FUE,Follicle Unit Extraction ;recently increasing demand has led them offer non-surgical alternatives as well I.e PRP Platelet Rich Plasma Injections , trying keep up-to-date with in emerging methodologies.

Concern for their customers

This company really cares about their patients(cue the violins), going above-and-beyond to make them feel comfortable and answer any questions they might have along the way.

So, Who “Really” Owns Bosley?

So we’ve heard all about Aderans Co., Ltd swooping in and buying up Bosley, but is there another boss watching over from the shadows? Some people like to hypothesize that Michael Jackson (yes that one!) secretly owned Bosely at some point based on speculation of his wig-wearing tendencies – which now just sounds gross. Another unfounded conspiracy theory implies recent-ish actor Rob Lowe had some sneaky involvement — let’s not dwell on this gossip-mongering stuff, shall we?

But alas! In our research extravaganza, nothing concrete was found regarding anything other than being entirely owned by Aderans! Side note: It’s possible that lack of details might indicate a higher degree of secrecy (but probably not).

Data Source

Some companies related to hair restoration are still privately-owned or only handle specific niches such as transplantation procedures etc.

There you have it folks – we may never know if celebrities secretly own hair restoration businesses. But at least we can be secure knowing Aderan has got our follicles covered.

So why wait until you see baldness creeping upon you gradually-let Bosley help stop it right in its tracks with precision! Just remember looking great boils down to inner confidence more than science-based hair-probs.
