  • For capsule, extended release 24hr products : Swallow whole. Do not break/chew/crush/dissolve. Best to take at the same time each day. May make you drowsy or dizzy. Drive with caution. MD may need to reduce the dose before you stop it. Do not smoke. May mask signs of low blood sugar in diabetics. Tell doctor/surgeon on drug prior to any surgery. Check pulse and blood pressure. Share with MD.
  • For solution, oral products : Important to read patient package insert& med guide. Do not shake. Measure dose using a dosing spoon/cup/syringe. Take doses regularly, even when feeling well. May make you dizzy. Use caution when driving. Take with meals and snacks as directed. May cause dizziness. Tell doctor your complete medical history. Know signs of low blood sugar. Review all drugs you are taking with your doctor. Call doctor if you are not getting better.
