  2. Dipotassium phosphate
  3. Distilled water
  4. 50 ml Beaker
  5. Burette tube/graduated cylinder /pipette


1) Mix one mole of dipotassium hydrogen phosphate (K2HPO4​) and one mole of monopotassium dihydrogenphosphate(KH2PO4). Dissolve them completely using distilled water

 K₂​ HPO₄ + KH₂ ​ PO₄​​ → K ​ 2 ​ HPO₄ + 2H₂ O

The reaction creates a salt solution balanced at pH7.
