What is the difference between fluticasone and Nasonex? Nasonex is also FDA approved to treat nasal polyps. Flonase contains fluticasone and Nasonex contains mometasone; these are both glucocorticoid corticosteroids that help to relieve congestion, sneezing, postnasal drip, and other allergy symptoms, including eye symptoms.

Does Flonase really work? Like other nose sprays, this does NOTHING to help your allergies. Unlike pills that actually work and cure all your allergy symptoms.
