What happens if we use 100 percent of our brain?

Have you ever heard the rumor that we only use 10 percent of our brain? Well, it’s time to put this myth to bed. In reality, we already use 100 percent of our brain, just not all at once (thank goodness!). However, what would happen if we could access and utilize every single part of our grey matter simultaneously? Let’s dive into a world where no neuron gets left behind.

The Myth That Refuses to Die

Before we get started on the fantastical possibilities of a fully utilized mind, let’s take a moment to debunk the popular myth in which we only use 10% of our brains (aka drivel). This falsehood has been perpetuated by movies like “Lucy” and insert your least favorite science fiction film here. In actuality, MRI scans have proved that “at any given moment, thousands or millions or billions (emphasis added) neurons are firing in different regions all over the brain,” according to Scientific American. So there goes that theory.

Turning It Up To Eleven

If indeed humans somehow figure out how tap into their entire processing power (hold onto your lugnuts!), imagine how much more efficient everything would be right from opening stubborn jars without putting stress on hands now using an irreversible amount towards memory storage. For instance:
– Organization – superhuman productivity will never be far when every corner is lighted with impeccable structure.
– Memory Recall – Elevating recollection techniques beyond vivid imagery can contrive instant total retrieval giving savants quite a run for their money!
– Creative Process – Influencing rational thoughts transmuting original intentions allowing greater expressive diversity (wild ideas transformer activated!)
Possibilities abound!

Increased Intelligence?

While it sounds incredible that suddenly accessing portions previously untapped cortex translates automatically as heightened intelligence quotient (duh), scientists suggest it’s not that simple. On the other pa-paw, research conducted on rats shows a noteworthy increase in learning capability due to neuroplasticity (brain cells ‘stretchier’ than anticipated at an old age). However, humans’ cognitive peculiarities with regards to unique personality traits and hereditary element towards intellect might be factors invalidating this contribution theory.

A Surge of Sensory Overload

A complete (yes unbounded!) utilization of one’s gray matter means simultaneous processing of multiple sensory inputs at an amplified scale than current brain capacity can’t reach. Imagine hearing every frequency simultaneously as it registers into your ears; dealing with intense nausea from the millions upon millions each blink captures in its frame or how disappointing discovering one can’t escape their olfactory senses would be? It wouldn’t take long before mental faculties starts shutting down due to data overload response i.e migraines seizures etcetera (Oof!!)

Can We Handle The Pressure?

We humans are experiencing stress now using only 10 percent of our innate processing speed- could we even cope if all neurons suddenly started firing almost instantly? For instance, areas responsible for regulating basic bodily functions like breathing and heartbeat operate involuntarily hence requiring zero conscious effort. Imagine having to micromanage all these organ systems without fail because any errors or omissions could spell doom – more or less heart attack central! Similarly aware thinking will drive many people crazy as they process countless background & foreground details possibly leading most social norms breakdown (ouch snap outta that convo shut up shut up proper etiquette engaging…) Yes please!

Telekinesis or Mind Control

You think telekinesis was just for comic book readers huh? One popular belief when it comes wishlisting superhuman abilities justified by ability misconceptions is being able to control objects via thought processes named “telekinesis.” When subjected through rigorous scientific investigation however…ahem..This concept is derived from the fictional world of movies and involves harnessing unused power. (Time to let go kiddos 😀 )

Concluding Remarks

In conclusion, using 100 percent of our brains may not lead straightaway as telegraphs might have presumed (sadface) but it would certainly come with its share of mixed blessings. Alongside drastic peaks in potential productivity or heightened sensory perception comes a significant amount of pressure & responsibility being met by limited management skills, which could be unattainable without significantly increasing personal developments like emotional IQ and consciousness generally – even then!

So for now, perhaps it’s better that we don’t use every single iota in-headspace capacity until we figure out how not flipping every flippant switch will ultimately end us all up in chaos- but hey at least ketchup consumption managed just fine (phew).
