What causes roid gut?

From what I could find, roid gut is caused by the injecting of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) into one’s system. This hormone is naturally produced by the body.

Can a growth hormone cause a roid gut? Similarly, Human Growth Hormones could potentially trigger GH-induced gut hypertrophy and cause your organs to grow. Yet so can testosterone. Yep, testosterone can trigger this same roid gut. Yet, it is not blamed like these two.

What causes distended abdomens and ROID stomachs? ‘Roid’ gut is a combination of a lot of things. Steroids/AAS actually have very little to do with it. Excessive amounts of insulin are the main culprit of what is causing the distended abdomens. You have the most insulin receptors on your stomach and overdoing exogenous insulin will promote fat storage as visceral fat in the stomach region.

Why do bodybuilders get Roid gut so often? Why do bodybuilders get roid gut? A rare condition, Palumboism appears to only affect bodybuilders, especially during the bodybuilding competition trend for massive muscularity in the 1990s and 2000s.

Is it possible for testosterone to cause Roid gut?

Is it possible for testosterone to cause Roid gut? Yep, testosterone can trigger this same roid gut. Yet, it is not blamed like these two. But here is the real kicker – and the reason why this debate is so big – despite drug regimes being more intense and bodybuilders being a hell of a lot bigger; the pharmacological impact of insulin and GH (on your gut) hasn’t changed.

Is it true that GH and insulin cause Roid gut? The only people who accuse GH and insulin of causing roid gut are internet experts commenting on contests (post event). Add all of these together and what these facts suggest is that pharmacological use of GH and insulin – which is taken at much higher levels than bodybuilders – doesn’t cause abdominal distention.

Why do bodybuilders use the growth hormone guts? Bodybuilders inject insulin to drive nutrients into the muscle post workout. However, improper usage of insulin can cause extreme side effects including coma and death. Many believe that the modern growth hormone guts are actually caused by insulin abuse, and therefore, should be called ‘slin guts’.

What does it mean when you have Roid gut? It is regularly agreed upon that roid guts are a sign of something that went wrong during training – namely, with the drugs/supplements they’ve used. Use them right and you’ll experience minimum side effects.
