Getting to Know Your New Home

Where is Orange County exactly?

Orange County is located in Southern California. It’s bounded by Los Angeles on the north and San Diego on the south.

What’s so special about Orange County?

Aside from the perfect weather (seriously, it’s 75 degrees every day), there are many things that make OC unique. For one thing, it has some of the best beaches in California (sorry LA). There are also plenty of theme parks like Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm which attract visitors from all over the world.

A Brief History Lesson

Orange County was established way back in 1889 when local farmers decided they wanted their region recognized as its own entity instead of just being part of San Diego or LA counties. Today it boasts a diverse population consisting mainly of families & young professionals who value quality living experiences.

Driving in OC

If public transport isn’t your thing (which we fully understand), driving around Orange County is relatively easy compared to some of California’s BIGGER cities i.e LA et al).

Keep Note: Rush hour traffic can add an extra hour or two to your journey however most commutes aside from requiring some patience do end up being manageable.

Living Expenses

So here comes the burning question, how much will living cost me if I move?

The answer d-e-p-e-n-d-s mostly on where you’re coming from:

  • Typical prices for one-bedroom apartments range between $1,500- $3,000 per month.
