Life is a terminal disease?

“Life is a terminal disease”, I always said that because it’s the naked truth, our existence will eventually end. People are born to die, and that’s just how it works. Don’t get me wrong; this isn’t going to be some depressing article about death and unity with the cosmos or anything of that sort. Death is one aspect of life we can either fear or embrace.

The Four Laws of Mortality

Nature has four laws on mortality that no living being can escape from: birth, growth/development, reproduction, and death (BGDR). Every organism undergoes these cycles in varying forms until its final stage when it reaches senescence- old age.

Birth

The moment your mother swatted you out like an irritating fly marks the onset of your journey through life as a member of what we know as Homo sapiens- humans.

Growth/Development

From infancy till puberty comes tons of changes both physically and mentally in individuals. It includes everything from learning to walk to attending kindergarten schooldays

Reproduction

At maturity level starts the need for romance(usually), love-making where offspring might arise=)

Death

It doesn’t matter whether old age claims us peacefully in our sleep after living out a good long time full of incredible memories or if we become victim 6 feet underground by gory means( not-so-lucky ones).

Looking at life through a medical lens

Death is unavoidable like taxes and morning breaths! That may sound cynical but hang on tight! If you take off those rose-tinted glasses for even two seconds, catch phrase would be:” F&%#ing OWW! my eyes.” What’s revealed underneath regards frailty- exposed cleavage shows many health challenges veiled which comprises various conditions mainly due to aging factors? We often think of diseases such as Alzheimer’s, paralysis, and diabetes as major health challenges in a medical perspective. What we don’t see are common vulnerabilities that accompany aging such as the loss of strength present in muscles and bones.

Life is an illness

The more one becomes educated on how different cell lobe functions, the way diseases run havoc through our bodies may come to view life itself akin to a terminal disease.Cancer cells mutations follow instructions of survival instincts evolving inside hosts to survive. Drugs targeting cancerous growth cures for these illnesses Is like rooting out hiding places germinating then consuming.. This kind of method has its foundation contrasted with traditional therapies prescribed by trained practitioners striving mainly for treatment efficiency variables – resistance levels causing rapid replication by deriving from incremental changes across multiple stages within mutated classes changing via time(the adversary). All hail Death!

Death holds different connotations depending on who you ask or even your cultural background. Egyptians used Mummification when preparing their dead while ancient Greeks had huge feasts before laying their beloved ones down- It’s just plain old expected everyone dies! We might not be able to control death-like Agent Smith moving uncontrollably “And quite honestly…I’m afraid.”{Matrix Reloaded} but we certainly can try to understand it so we can live fuller lives right?

Acceptance equals liberation

We could fight against death until nothing’s left except frail soul stripped bare at some point since it’ll almost always end badly(again sorry) why chase after something you won’t ever evade?!#Sisyphus Maybe embracing senescence instead (beauty lines et all included) offers freedom rarefied maintaining characters availing wisdom during those sunset years?

Bucket list bumblebees=)

It means literally chasing those experiences that matter to you, testing your boundaries whilst transcending them is one way of handling death in a unique manner. Don’t go doing something insanely ridiculous like jumping over 40 flaming garbage bins on roller skates or base-jumping off an airplane without proper gear but try stepping out of familiar territory.

Carpe Diem

As Robin Williams once said “Carpe diem” seizing the moment to indulge in what makes you happy example painting(I always wanted my world masterpiece- It looks amazing not going to lie!), eating candy for breakfast, reading comics(so much so), break dancing at home .whatever tickles our fancy! Remember: Life’s too short even though it feels long sometimes 😥#

Takeaway

In conclusion while life might be looked through both medical lenses and cultural nuances it behooves us all understand there exists no escaping mortality. The four laws state our existence goes from birth ~ development ~ reproduction ~death existing frameworks we can truly embrace enjoy making memories along every step(AKA Bucketlist adventures). As Will Smith starred in Hitch-“Life is not lived until its lived”.#
