Jamming Out: How to Get Earbuds in Sims 4

Are your Sims tired of listening to the same old music through their speakers or headphones? Do they want to be able to bop around town with earbuds like all the cool kids? Well, look no further! With a few simple steps, you can get your Sims jamming out with their own pair of earbuds.

Step One: Purchase and Install the Required Expansion Pack

Before you can give your Sims some sweet tunes in their ears, you’ll need to make sure that you have The Sims 4 City Living expansion pack installed on your computer. This expansion pack adds new features and items related to urban living, including hip new clothing options and city-specific objects.

Once the expansion pack is installed, launch The Sims 4 game and create a new Sim or load up an existing one. At this point, it’s important that your Sim lives in San Myshuno, which is the name of the city introduced in The Sims 4 City Living expansion pack.

If none of your established households live there, then just put down a temporary home for them so they can take advantage of everything that comes along with big-city life (including those sweet wireless earbuds).

Step Two: Locate the “Street Performer” Object

In order for your Sim to get their hands on some earbuds, they’ll need to scope out one very specific object: the “Street Performer.” You can find it by doing any one of these three things:

  • Head over to San Myshuno’s Arts Quarter neighborhood and find a street performer playing music.
  • Purchase it from Build/Buy mode under Objects by Room > Outdoor > Activities & Skills.
  • Use cheats by pressing Shift + Ctrl + C at once; type ‘bb.showhiddenobjects’ into cheat console without apostrophes where cheats are enabled, and then search for the “Street Performer” object.

Once you’ve located the “Street Performer,” place it somewhere in your Sim’s house or outdoor area.

Step Three: Have Your Sims Interact with the “Street Performer”

Now comes the fun part! Once you have placed the street performer in your home, click on him/her and select “Listen to music.”

At first, your Sim will likely just dance along while rockin’ out to some sweet tunes. However, if they keep listening long enough (and maybe toss a tip or two into his hat), eventually they’ll receive their very own pair of earbuds from the street performer.

Step Four: Enjoy Your Sims’ New Earbuds

Congratulations! You did it – your Sims now have wireless earbuds that they can use anytime and anywhere. All they need to do is access their inventory by clicking on themselves, then selecting Inventory > Music Players > Wireless Earbuds. They should be good to go!

So there you have it – four easy steps for getting those sweet earbuds into The Sims 4 City Living game. With this simple trick at hand, all of your Sims will be able to enjoy top-quality sound no matter where life takes them in San Myshuno.

Tips and Tricks for Using Your Sims’ Earbuds
