  • Use sunscreen

  • For cream products : Clean and dry skin, then use a thin layer on area. Wash hands after applying. Do not bandage unless told by doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth or vagina. Take at the same time every day. Avoid drinking alcohol. Use for other problems only if directed by MD.
  • For foam products : Wash and dry affected area before applying. Spray foam onto cool surface before applying. Apply a thin layer and rub in. Skin may be more prone to sunburn.

Tell Dr if are/plan to be pregnant/breastfeeding. May take 4 weeks for full benefit of therapy. Call doctor if you are not getting better. Follow directions on best place to keep drug supply.
  • For tablet products : Before use, important to read the Medication Guide. Call MD if new abdominal pain/yellowing eyes/skin. Tell doctor if fainting or faintness occurs. Review all drugs you are taking with your doctor. Take with food or milk to lessen stomach upset. Do not use antacids within 2 hours. Lab tests may be ordered to monitor therapy.
