Is genetically modified corn safe to eat?

If you’re anything like me, the mere mention of “genetically modified” probably sends shivers down your spine. You might even picture a mad scientist cackling maniacally while cooking up some weird and unnatural monstrosity in their lab.

But what if I told you that genetically modified corn is actually perfectly safe to eat? Yes, it’s true! And no, I’m not being paid off by Big Agro (although if any Big Agro executives are reading this and want to send me a check, feel free). Let’s take a closer look at the facts behind GMO corn.
