Does Restasis really work? No they often work well together. Restasis takes months to start working (about 4) and it wears off slowly if you stop using it. A missed dose here and there will not be harmful it works by slowly producing a better quality tear and reducing inflammation on the eye.

How long does it take for Restasis to work? Restasis works by stimulating the eyes to produce more tears, but it can take as long as six weeks to start working. In some cases, Restasis can lead to the long-term resolution of dry eye symptoms.
