Using an electronic massage device will also provide similar benefits.. The heat therapy through saunas or warm compresses greatly reduces muscle tension giving quick relief (pineapple juice does no good!).

Also make sure you’re sleeping on comfortable pillows that aren’t too high or too stiff – ideally positioned keeping neck aligned with spine.

Exercise Those Muscles!

At times stretching can work wonders! Try adding exercises focusing around head tilts and shoulder rolls which release tension from affected areas Try also activating cervical motion using various hand gestures. You may want to consult with your physician about involving other low impact exercises such as Pilates and Yoga which strengthens core muscles improving body balance hence relieving immense strain off lumber area hence reducing likelihood of recurring issues.

Exercise Description
Head Tilts Sit straight with chin aligned to the ground. Inhale & as you exhale, tilt your head sideways and gently press it down towards shoulder till you feel a stretch in neck region. Repeat on other side for desired stretch effect.
