How to straighten your nose yourself?

Are you tired of your nose being crooked? Do you feel like it’s holding you back from achieving your full potential in life? Well fear not, because I have good news for you – there are ways to straighten your nose on your own! Forget about spending thousands of dollars on plastic surgery, we’ve got some DIY solutions that’ll give you the perfect schnoz.

Understanding the Anatomy of a Crooked Nose

First things first, let’s talk a little bit about what causes a crooked nose. The shape and alignment of our noses can be influenced by genetics, injury, or even habits like sleeping on one side more than the other. Basically, if something impacts the cartilage or bone structure in our noses, it can cause them to become misaligned.

A crooked nose isn’t just an aesthetic problem either; it can make breathing difficult and lead to other issues like sinus infections or even sleep apnea. So, fixing your crooked nose is definitely worth considering!

Fix It with Face Yoga?

Have y’all heard of face yoga before? It’s apparently this thing where people contort their faces into various positions in order to tone muscles and reduce wrinkles. But did you know that face yoga can also help correct facial imbalances? That includes a misaligned nose! Try out these poses:

  • Forcing a smile while gently pushing up on either side of your nostrils
  • Pressing down gently with two fingers at the tip of your nose while lifting up slightly
  • Pinching each nostril shut alternately while inhaling through one and exhaling through the other

Who knew that exercising our faces would come so handy?

Using Nose Strips

You’re probably familiar with those pore strips that take blackheads off our noses; well turns out they may work for correcting its shape too! There are self-adhesive nasal strips specifically designed to reduce the appearance of a crooked nose. These work by applying gentle pressure on either side of your bridge, encouraging it to straighten out over time.

But don’t expect overnight miracles or you’ll be disappointed. Like everything else in life, results take time and consistency is key. So, stick with it and be patient!

Get a Massage

What if I told you that massaging your nose could help straighten it? Apparently, gentle massages can help realign bones and cartilage in our noses faster than we think. To give yourself a DIY nose massage:

  • Use two fingers gently rub back-and-forth along the length of your nose
  • Start at above each nostril near the corner of each eye socket
  • Rubbing upwards toward between eyes areas

Warning: like any other kind of massage, approaching this too aggressively can cause harm rather than good.

DIY Nose Taping

Still not convinced that these natural remedies will do anything for your crooked sniffer? This technique called “nose taping” may be what you need to see some actual progress without resorting to surgery. Here’s how this method works:

  1. Cut thin adhesive tape into small pieces (not masking tape might I add)
  2. Starting from the tip move up towards bridge; apply one piece ABOVE where arch deviates
3.Gently pull while sticking them tightly together

See follow-on instructions before trying this out though please.

J-Rods Shape Your Nose?

Have y’all heard about jawline exercisers aka J-rods claimed effective for shaping facial contours particularly chins & cheeks? But did you know that certain types actually shape more than just those areas? If used correctly and consistently over time ahead of when worn-out even an unintentionally twisted-looking proboscis can benefit better alignment overall resulting from reshaped cheek/nose-adjacent areas, so give it a try!

This sentence is giving me all kinds of tongue twisters idek what I’m saying anymore lol.

Essential Oils

Essential oils are life! No argument there right? Different types have different uses including for healing skin issues and relaxing upset stomachs to name a few of the many claims made in relation to them. It turns out they can be used to aid with realigning facial structure as well.

One way you can use essential oils for straightening your nose at home is by gently massaging chamomile oil around your nose bridge while holding pressure with one finger on each side intermittently over time; this may help remodel bone or cartilage that’s causing deformation.

Another one is rubbing Eucalyptus Oil under each nostril before bedtime; this helps clear sinuses reducing inflammation that can impede proper breathing associated when dealing with crooked noses.

Nose Yoga?

That’s right folks, we’re back at the yoga again! There are some poses specifically created around reshaping and strengthening facial muscles (including those surrounding our noses). Check these out:

1) Purring cat
2) Snarling dog
3) The Kiss face
4) Fishy lips pose (not sure if someone just made up that term but humorous anyway)

These exercises work by contracting certain muscle groups repeatedly using various techniques implemented during yoga sessions which strengthen overall jawline & neck muscles beyond simply repositioning bones/ cartilage directly affecting how our respective proboscis presents itself post-shape change efforts maintained overtime!!

Goodbye Crooked Nose!

So there you have it – several ways to straighten your nose without having surgery like Rhinoplasty or Septoplasty surgeries which aren’t always feasible nor preferred options either.

We hope these methods were helpful enough in guiding you towards achieving greater symmetry between both sides of your face including around nasal areas! Don’t forget, persistence is key when working towards something so commit to whichever method appeals most and stick with it, results may vary but they won’t come at all if you don’t try right?
