How to store chaga tea?

Have you joined the chaga tea craze yet? If not, what is wrong with you? It’s all the rage on Instagram and TikTok. And let’s be honest, we all want to be trendy.

But once you have your hands on some delicious tasting chaga tea, how do you store it properly? Don’t worry my friend; I’ve got your back!

Step One: Find a Secret Storage Place

Let’s start by looking for that secret spot where no one will ever find your precious stash of chaga tea. Maybe under the bed or behind that statue from Aunt Bertha could work.

If hiding your chaga in plain sight isn’t enough and you believe someone might still discover its location, try using a lock as well! Remember birds of feather flock together but when it comes to storing teas ‘Hiding like an Owl’ is key (pun intended).

Step Two: Choose Your Perfect Container

Chagas come in small sizes and don’t require much room. Hence making sure they’re stored appropriately like Goldilocks bear would prefer them-”Just right”.

You will need a container that can comfortably accommodate the amount of Chagas available while also protecting it from dirt, moisture, air among other things. Hence ensure whatever container used must seal tightly leaving no room for foreign elements such as Bacteria(phewwhatwashethinking)!!!

For extra effects add a tag reading ”BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH’,’POISONOUS’,or even choose something unique suggesting religious artifacts – “The Holy Grail” maybe 🙂

Here are some examples of suitable containers:

Container Type Pros Cons
Glass Jars Airtight seals Heavy
Reusable Can shatter easily
Plastic bags Good for air tightness Less durable than containers
Lightweight Leakage risk is high
Paper Bags Protect from direct sunlight More vulnerable to moisture/chafing

Step Three: Preservation of Chaga’s Aroma and Flavor

We all love our tea’s freshly brewed but if that isn’t the case, you have to store it with preservation in mind. The aroma and flavor must be maintained even while being stored.

To preserve your chaga tea odor and savor, keep them away from unfavorable conditions like Exposure to heat, Moisture or Air.

Keep them cool; chagas are happy living under 40-50 F temperatures. Moreover let not their house feel damp or humid lest they become sickly!!!

You’re probably wondering how best do we achieve this? Glad I asked! Let me introduce you to tea canisters (cue favorite superhero music). Tea canisters are specially designed container made from materials such as aluminum or stainless steel which act as natural insulators preventing external factors such as dirt/moisture/air penetrating thus keeping your precious Chaga healthy.

The Best option though would’ve been cryogenic freezing but why go through so much trouble when there exists an easier alternative (no judgement here)!

Step Four: Label Everything

Just like a brain surgeon never operates without putting on gloves (was gonna say petting zoo staff but thought otherwise), labeling ain’t just useful during surgery only.

Labeling always helps should anyone else gain entry into your storage area. They get what they need then know where everything goes back too 😉

Should you ever label something wrongly well…..let’s assume the universe will have ways of reminding us every time we sip that drink!!

Conclusion:

Handling Chagas may sound complicated at first again am talking about storages not amphibians or Reptiles 🙂 However once we have a good container to begin with, storing those Chagas becomes as easy as making your boss laugh out loud (something I do every day {Okay that was me breaking the rules}).

The key points are ensuring optimal storage conditions such as moisture levels and exposure to air just like you would your new-born baby or pet. Store them in places where humidity can’t reach (we don’t want any sick chaga) and enjoy the full aroma and flavor of freshly brewed gourmet tea without ever having left home!

So go ahead, brew yourself some warm feeling goodness while maintaining fresh aromas long after harvesting!
