How to relieve pain from prostatitis?

Dealing with prostatitis can be a challenge, especially when you’re struggling with pain. This condition is characterized by inflammation of the prostate gland and can cause discomfort in the groin area, lower abdomen, and back. Fortunately, there are ways to alleviate your symptoms.

Don’t Sit for too Long

Sitting for too long is not only bad for your posture but it’s also bad if you have prostatitis. The pressure on your pelvic area can cause more pain and discomfort around that region. Make sure to stand up every 30 minutes or so just to stretch out about a bit or adjust yourself into different positions while sitting down.

Over-the-Counter Painkillers

When experiencing pain from prostatitis, over-the-counter medications such as Ibuprofen (Advil) or Acetaminophen (Tylenol) may come in handy (but make sure you consult your doctor first.)

Hot Showers/Baths

If anything strikes closer home than hot showers/baths when dealing with pains especially those associated with injection disorders then one would be playing below par if they were to exclude this option on their list; go ahead indulge yourself in some hot water therapy now! Nothing like scalding away all those minute muscle spasms making rounds around our jewels eh?
