How to pop your abs out?

Are you tired of having a flabby stomach? Do you want to make your abs pop out so you can show them off on Instagram? Well, look no further because I’m here to teach you how to do just that!

First things first, let’s talk about what it means to have “popped” abs. Essentially, this is when the abdominal muscles are well-defined and visible through the skin. Achieving this look takes time and effort, but with dedication and consistency, anyone can get there.

Crunches Are Overrated

One common misconception about getting “popped” abs is that doing endless crunches will get you there. While crunches certainly help strengthen your core muscles, they aren’t going to magically give you six-pack abs.

Instead of focusing solely on crunches, incorporate exercises that target all areas of your core such as planks and bicycle crunches.

Say Goodbye To Carbs

If you really want those ab muscles popping out like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime, you’re going to have to say goodbye (temporarily)to some of your favorite foods. Specifically carbs need reducing or cutting down! Foods high in carbohydrates tend to cause bloating and water retention which hide those hard-earned ab lines.

Try swapping out refined carbs for whole grain options instead or reducing carb intake altogether for best results.

Don’t Forget About Water

Drinking enough water throughout the day not only hydrates your body but also helps flush out excess sodium (which causes bloating). Aim for at least eight glasses per day – yes I know constant bathroom breaks may be annoying, but trust me it’s worth it if we’re talking washboard stomachs now!

Cardio Is Key

In order for those abs muscles to truly stand-out,cardiovascular exercise is key. Incorporate high intensity interval training into your workout routine, such as sprinting, biking, or jumping rope between periods of rest. This will help you burn fat and build lean muscle mass.

Proper Nutrition Is Important

Eating a well-balanced diet isn’t only important for overall health but also for creating those defined ab muscles. Incorporate plenty of fruits and vegetables into your meals along with lean protein sources like chicken breast or tofu. Avoid high-calorie processed foods that aren’t nutrient-rich to get proper nutrition.

For optimum results combine exercises that target core muscles like this-

Exercise Reps
Plank 30 sec -1 min
Bicycle Crunches 3 x15 each side
Oblique Twists with Medicine Ball 3 X12 each side

Remember- you’re on the road to achieving “popped” abs! You’ve got this!
