How to do your own stomach wrap?

Are you tired of wasting your hard-earned money on expensive body wraps at the spa? Well, look no further, because we’ve got everything you need to know about how to do your own stomach wrap in the comfort of your own home! Not only is this a cost-effective option, but it’s also a great way to pamper yourself and achieve that beach-ready look.

Why Body Wraps Work

Before diving into the steps on how-to master an at-home body wrap, it’s worth understanding why they work. So put down those cheetos for just one minute and keep reading!

Body wraps are designed with detoxifying ingredients such as clay or charcoal that help draw out impurities from the skin. They may also contain caffeine which helps reduce water retention (AKA – bye-bye bloating!). As we sweat inside our DIY sauna suits (more on those later) during wrapping sessions, toxins released through our pores enable us to lose some inches along our mid-section too. In summary; sweating equals losing weight/allows for greater absorption of topical products.

Ingredients 101

So let’s get started! First things first: gather all of the necessary ingredients:

1 cup bentonite clay

Bentonite clay can be found online or in health food stores. Just make sure that it is pure bentonite without any added fragrances or additives.

1 tbsp sea salt

Sea salt not only has exfoliating properties but contains plenty of beneficial vitamins & minerals.

2 cups warm water

Warm/hot H20 will help bring out all these active natural components even more while creating an easy rinse at session end time!

7 drops essential oil(s)

Lavender, chamomile peppermint work wonders here due their calming effects which may reduce inflammation long-term when used topically overtime.

DIY Stomach Wrap

Now that you have all of the necessary ingredients, it’s time to get started on making your own stomach wrap! Follow these steps for a spa-like experience from the comfort of your own living room:

  1. Before applying the wrap, it’s essential to exfoliate your skin in order to remove any dead cells or lingering impurities. Take a warm shower or bath and use an exfoliating brush.

  2. In a medium-sized bowl combine 1 cup of bentonite clay with 2 cups warm water until completely smooth.

  3. Add sea salt & essential oil(s) into prior mixture stirring well again.

  4. Once mixed thoroughly apply medium layer onto stomach area (front & back) – we recommend using foaming applicator pads (extra cash but extra convenience) or even freshly washed pair nitrile gloves. Your body won’t absorb this homemade concoction unless tightly wrapped, recommend Saran-Clad plastic sheeting here nicely tucked around ant peripheral areas as possible esp over waistline so solution doesn’t seep out; do not gob too much solution oftentimes less is more when dealing with such focused treatment!

  5. Now comes the fun part- wrapping yourself up like mummy! We recommend buying two simple soft cotton towels online exclusively for uses during each session respectively labeled accordingly one “Used” then other “Clean”. First lay down clean towel before laying plastic-wrapped torso onto it making sure torso perfectly centered horizontally.

  6. Start wrapping by spacing layers four at least six inches evenly while adding slight stretch upon applyin – this will allow it to be effectively compressed under added force

7.Once finished simply kick back put feet up watch Netflix or catchup on some reading magz Most people find maximum benefit after leaving themselves wrapped for about one hour minimum per session/

8.Afterwards proceeding take slow measured movements unwrap without making any additional weights pulls. Gently rinse off wrap solution and take warm shower follow through with application of soothing lotion or oil!

Tips & Tricks

Here are a few more tips and tricks to make the most out of your DIY stomach wrap:

  • Avoid drinking too much water right before wrapping, as this can dilute the effects.
  • Sleepy tea or other relaxation tea works well pre wraps (exception those who experience esophageal reflux disease, etc).
  • Make it known for close people around you/housemates that they do not need to disturb because you will be wrapped up like an aerated burrito; by all means if your security footage is cool pls share on YouTube!

That’s it! With these simple steps, you’ll be able to enjoy all the benefits of a stomach wrap from the comfort of your own home. Best thing is after trying homemade versus wallet-draining Spa alternatives without seeing results primarily others’ lotty voices in ambient record players may become unnecessary lol Stay calm and happy pampering everybody!
