How i cured my bpd?

Welcome, everyone, to the strange and wacky world of Borderline Personality Disorder. Let me tell you, it’s a ride you won’t want to miss! I mean that sarcastically though. For those who have traversed the wild terrain of BPD or loved someone with this condition understand how messy, unpredictable and devastating it can be.

Being diagnosed with BPD is not exactly something anyone relishes hearing. It means there are challenges but as someone who refuses ever to give up on my quest towards eternal mental wellness; There is hope for us all!

The Diagnosis That Turned My World Upside Down

Getting diagnosed was a big relief for me after years of feeling like something was wrong with me that no one else seemed to experience neither could they understand what I am going through Honestly? Sometimes just smiling in public made me feel terrified like a fool- Maybe if we got paid for making faces our lives would be different…or not, at least being able to put a name on this internal predicament much later helped alleviate that sense of craziness even though getting labeled “mentally ill” definitely had its downsides as well.

BPD shows up differently depending on your life experiences and pathways. However generally speaking here’s what many people who live with it face:

  • Intense feelings
  • Instability
  • Unstable relationships – think obsessively thinking about others perception or abandonment fears etc.
  • Self-destructive behavior (like self-harm)
It goes without saying then that taming such dragons require quite an arsenal but hey since when are battles without sweet guns more fun?

Starting The Warrior Journey To Mental Wellness

One thing that’s true about mental health struggles—everyone has their unique path towards healing themselves completely so Please try any tips only after seeing your therapist first. They’re qualified veterans leading warriors into battle against there struggles I mean kudos to all those therapists out there! You guys are the real MVPs. So here’s what worked for me:

1) Medication:

Medications? The big guns of mental health?! over my dead body, I remembered thinking that when a psychiatrist first prescribed some medication before later opting to do it myself without seeking expert opinion like someone who believes YouTube videos cure them better.

After years of suffering from crippling depression and anxiety, as well as feeling constantly overwhelmed, fatigued and scared at everything or one outside- I finally gave in after hearing about how low dosage medications have helped others relieve their symptoms to lead a more functional life – guess whaaat…it worked!

Please kindly note again that everyone is unique; medications work differently for each person so ensure you talk with an experienced mental healthcare professional before trying any kind yourself unless “YOU” want such possible hindsight experiences too though let me be really clear we shouldn’t expose ourselves to dangers in order to find comfort elsewhere quicker only then realizing our actions probably worsened our situations Trust Me on this one

2) Therapy:

Ah yes…the world-famous therapy (Is it okay if i bow down now?) It can’t seem like the easiest thing stepping into a cookie-cutter sterile office ready to divulge your deepest darkest secrets which sounds terrifying enough but just as Marie Curie once said “Nothing In Life Is To Be Feared Only Understood”. She was right, you know?

In my unique experience running away from painful feelings felt good temporarily but never served useful longterm-it just made things accumulate faster. Venting and learning emotional control/ management through cognitive-behavioral therapy aided by many released emotions has helped immensely during episodes also thereby reducing anticipatory anxiety.

There’s no shortage of options available often depending on where you live e.g sometimes online coaching is available but also to note sometimes trial and error is involved but it’s worth the long run of mental stability.

3) Finding Support Systems:

Can anyone figure out how enormous a rooted Tree actually is? It can spread so wide and far often connecting somewhat disconnected parts together- who knew connections mattered!

Quick fact; Humans are naturally social creatures. Yes, we need one another for survival by herd mentality which isn’t necessarily a bad thing at all. A big part of my journey towards curing BPD has been building stronger relationships with friends and family members.

Finding a support group that accepts and understands what you’re going through has also made quite the difference in learning effective coping strategies because BPD really shouldn’t be faced alone -sharing experiences paves way for growth, enlightenment even inspiring others along similar paths- It’s natural to connect with people who understand similar struggles.

4) Living Paitently:

The world today runs on convenience—Amazon Prime This! Internet There! Social Media Everywhere Whoa oh oh…life seems planned insomuch that when something goes wrong waiting feels sorta like hell itself If only i had priority access card 🙂

Getting better requires patiencetly working through each challenge while understanding “healing” takes time. There were moments I got ahead of myself as we all should be allowed every once in awhile,(We are imperfect right?) The best battles won are those fought bit by bit over periods not trying to kick down doors damaging walls anywhere possible whenever anything makes us feel crappy simply cause FEELS CAPABLE OF KICKING DOWN WALLS AT ONE POINT OR ANOTHER

Patience is just holding onto hope inspite of not seeing solutions immediately-we rarely recall remembering several years before how uncomfortable things were until recovery surged..

In Conclusion:

Finally -some peace after years lost between tumultuous emotions-Birthday wishes become better without feeling ignored, touching stories became endearing again.

BPD is a rocky, sometimes treacherous terrain— but hey? Do we run from battles when it comes to things that matter most? No. We rather find a way through and make the most of it-It’s not everyday the opportunity presents itself for personal growth really—to learn emotions someone more confident than ever or even inspire confidence in others!

Keep fighting princes and princesses of BPD Land—we all ultimately triumphed over our challenges with the right mindset!
