  • Use daily
  • Swallow capsules whole.

  • For aerosol powder, breath activated products : Do not shake. Tell doctor what medicines you are taking.
  • For aerosol, foam with applicator products : For rectal use only. Shake foam canister well before spraying foam. Use applicator for insertion into rectum. Do not take more drug than directed. Tell doctor if exposed to chicken pox or measles. Keep medicine away from heat or flames.
  • For aerosol, spray with pump products : Shake gently. For use in the nose. Know how to use before inhaling. Blow nose gently before dose. Use at the same time(s) daily as directed. May take 2 weeks for full benefit of therapy. Nosebleeds can occur. Call Dr. if severe.
  • For ampul for nebulization products : Know how to use before taking. Rinse mouth with water & spit out after dose. Will not stop an acute asthma attack. Call doctor if condition does not improve. MD may need to reduce the dose before you stop it. Use peak flow meter. Call MD immediately if worse. Tell doctor your complete medical history.
  • For capsule, delayed, and extended release products : Do not chew or crush. May open capsule. Mix into cool applesauce & swallow. Take with a full glass of water (8 ounces). Avoid taking grapefruit juice/grapefruit with med. Review all drugs you are taking with your doctor.
  • For tablet, delayed and extended release products : Swallow whole. Do not break/chew/crush/dissolve. Ask MD about lifestyle changes for bone health.
