How do you lower your a1c quickly?
Are you tired of your high A1c levels? Do you want to get it under control quickly and easily? Well, look no further! This funny guide will provide tips and tricks on how to lower your A1c in no time. Don’t believe us? Just sit back, relax, and enjoy this journey towards a healthier life!
What is an A1C?
Before we jump into ways to lower our A1c levels at warp speed, let’s first understand what an A1c is. A hemoglobin_A-ONE-C (A1C) test measures the average blood sugar level over the past two or three months. It gives doctors an idea of how well diabetes treatment is working for their patients.
Why should I bother lowering my levels?
Having high HbA1C can lead to numerous health problems such as heart disease, blindness cancer…wait— scratch that last one – just kidding! In all seriousness though, having high sugar levels in the bloodstream can cause significant damage to our body over time. So keeping them under control should be a top priority.
Tips on how to lower your numbers
Alright then smarty-pants, without wasting any further time here are few fun tips that’ll help bring down those nubers:
Eat Sugar-Free Candy
The name says it all folks; eat lots of candy but make sure its sugar-free kind because who needs natural sugars anyways when there’s chocolate involved?! Switch from medicine tablets for diabetes prevention to “dessert” instead — although dessert every day might not augment well during mealtime conversations with friends/family…
Go Camping/Wilderness
Why go through all these troubles if we can escape civilization altogether by disappearing into nature where idyllic sights await? Not only does camping give us plenty of opportunities for hiking/kayaking/other fun activities, but since access to sugar isn’t as forthcoming, our body can adjust more naturally over time leading to a decrease in blood-sugar levels.
Do Physical Exercise
Physical exercise is one of the most effective things we can do for ourselves—not just when it comes diabetes prevention! Especially doing repetitive motions like running or walking briskly which forces higher oxygen consumption, ultimately channeling into lower average glucose level overtime. Bonus points every five minutes spent working out also equals less chances of getting old and too withered for adventures (or trying new candy).
Give up fried food
The last and perhaps best way to reduce your A1c is by giving up on fried foods altogether. I am sorry; this includes ALL types of fried snacks such as french fries, samosas… sorry my fellow South Asians fans!! But hey at least there’s still tacos left right? Just remember – All good things come to those who wait- while you swap batter-fried thick cut chips from Sunday Biryani bowls!
Lifestyle Changes are Key
We don’t want these suggestions to sound like a quick fix that will magically solve all your problems overnight. Rather, they are practical tips that if applied consistently become part of a healthier lifestyle change towards combating high glucose levels long term.
While not foolproof solutions (obviously) observing these will lead us towards reducing dependence on medication pills for diabetic protection against hyper-glycemic incidents. And how awesome is that?!
