Face your foes fearless: Winning the war within

If there’s one thing that life teaches us, it is the fact that we are constantly at battle. Sure, some of us have never had to fight in a physical war zone or wielded a sword (though that would be dope), yet we all face different kinds of battles every day; from self-doubt and anxiety to stress, fear, depression and even mundane tasks like doing laundry. And what happens when you don’t conquer these smaller battles? You become fuel for your own demise. Worry not folks because today we will attempt to vanquish our demons.

Clear Up Your Mental Chatter

Uncluttering the mindspace can sound cheesy but it works wonders! First things first, let’s clear up those cobwebs in our brain by taking out 10 minutes each morning while paying attention solely to breathing along with clearing any negative thoughts as they come across our consciousness.
– Meditation actually helps if practiced consistently, sometimes even bringing insights into how certain challenges could be tackled better.
– Get accustomed with guided meditations apps/websites such as Calm & Headspace etc.

The more clarity you gain inside your head about personal goals, the easier progress will happen. Clear up and hack on

Cut The Crap

Our bodies function best when fueled with natural ingredients.Chipotle might provide temporary relief but think about it,it isn’t exactly helping towards long term health/fitness goals right?
This means cutting down processed foods,Pinterest-inspired Starbucks drinks, lazy nights of ordering takeout and downing packs upon packs of soda. There are great alternatives available out there, and yes healthy food can taste good too:

Mornings Snacks
Steel cut oats quinoa berry bowl Cucumber slices + hummus
Veggie omelet Small apple w/ almond butter
Greek yogurt + granola Small cheddar cheese + whole grain crackers
  • Drinking a gallon of water a day, especially when bored or looking for something to down is always good practice.

With physical health comes the added benefit of mental & spiritual fitness as well. When you invest your time in working towards being healthier, you gain overall energy (no more reaching for caffeine),while also feeling confident to take on newer tasks but above all you mentally empower yourself

The Confidence Hack

Confidence can easily plummet by comparing our journey with others, mixed results like Insta fame and FOMO etc. But there are ways to approach this:

  1. Make lists daily: Identifying what needs done during the day makes it easier to plan ahead while accomplishing smaller goals consistently.Day-to-day hustle does get overwhelming at times, having a list checked-off one end motivates towards keeping up with momentum.
  2. Comparing only ourselves solely: What story there portrayals over social media might not hold true.Once we aim only focus on bettering our ownself, the loneliness starts fading. If caught ourselves comparing anyway, don’t fret just close eyes and say “Not today Satan”

These practices might seem small and insignificant, but they’re major right-hooks that keeps us from falling into sinking holes.Place confidence first before other’s opinions because in truth those don’t matter! Fake it till you make it; become it.

Humour Is The Ultimate Weapon

We’ve all heard/heard about laughter being the “best medicine”,why? Because humour can aid in some way when we feel hopped up by negativity swirling in dark corners. Switch on that comedy-drama binge marathon mode or call gabby friend who knows how to cheer us right back .
Ways incorporate humor more into every day:

1) Attend Shows/ Workshops: Laughter yoga never fails for example which basically focuses on forced laughing till you build momentum that comes naturally from there.
2) Make time for fun activities: Comedy club visits,journal/books/movies/podcast lists of genre interest might add an instant change of speed through life routines.
3) Take funny risks = Memorable experiences: We don’t want looking back five years later feeling dull,no-regrets come willy-nilly little decision such trying out something quirky,e.g public dance challenge.

So next time face adversity head-on remember rule number #5 humility/humour wins battles

Perception Matters

How do interpretations shape our everyday outlooks?

Perception is central idea toward reworking thought patterns.For instance ,looking prospectively towards negative interactions helps avoid constant replay inside anger circle.What would realistically improve given situation should be weighed onto constantly instead just bathing opulent end dramas;

For long I held grudges against people involved circumstances rather than genuinely striving solve what actually occurred. In retrospect, does their apology really matter if we ourselves found genuine closure?

Research suggests challenging negative self-talk by replacing with positive affirmations which seems cheesy but “rewires” the brain to adopt healthier thought patterns/behavior.One suggestion could be little sticky notes on mirrors or calendars perhaps.

Our daily outlooks are shaped by how interpret facts/moods : Shifting that internally can change our journey itself. The power lies in your viewpoints
