If you’re a hopeless romantic and also love watching movies, then Love Blossoms is something that “must” get added to your movie bucket list. Directed by Chrysanthemum McFlower, it’s an amalgamation of love, drama and comedy.

Plot Overview

Olivia Faith (Taylor Daisy) is a successful florist who had no time for romance until she meets Harry Thorn (Oliver Greenleaf), an eccentric Englishman visiting California for work purposes. They both are struggling with different aspects of life but don’t know how much they need each other until fate brings them together a few times accidentally.

Their journey portrays the ups and downs of their relationship with quirky twists that keep the audience intrigued throughout.

Captivating Chemistry

One of my favourite things about this movie was how well-developed Olivia and Harry’s chemistry was portrayed. You could feel the sparks flying every time they were in each other’s presence (and trust me there were many such instances).

It got almost addictive to see them together as they shared peculiar experiences such as horseback riding (Harry even falls off during one such ride) or cooking classes featuring olive oil wrestling! Their dynamic made it interesting to see whether these two opposite personalities will actually end up staying close.

Heart-warming Storyline

While there are many clichéd love stories out there, I have never seen anything quite like Love Blossoms. It freshens up upon all familiar concepts since it shows authentic human behavior beyond what one usually sees in rom-coms (thank God!). Even side-characters left an impression on my heart (especially Matthew, Harry’s weird colleague).

Unexpected Twists and Turns

Love Blossoms will leave you wondering what will happen next with every passing scene (no seriously it becomes a Nancy Drew kind of situation for the audience). It kept me engaged in trying to predict how things would pan out.

Harry does something that completely baffles Olivia at one point, and then there are some unexpected challenges that create tension between them. Unpredictable moments alongside many hilarious scenes make this movie worth enjoying alone or with friends.

Chrysanthemum McFlower’s Direction

Full credit goes to director Chrysanthemum McFlower since she nailed it by creating an alluring blend of characters that stand out individually yet make sense when put together. The way she intricately merges laughter with emotional turmoil showcases a unique talent for direction seen only through remarkable directors like Sofia Coppola!

But let’s not forget about her twisty ending which left me clapping – I won’t give anything away here (I ain’t no spoiler) but trust me; You’ll never second guess Love Blossoms. Ever.

Final Thoughts

In summary, Love Blossoms is a witty romantic comedy worth watching multiple times consecutively. Its storyline engages the viewer from the beginning until the end!

So grab your popcorns / bubble tea & get cuddled up in bed (or steal your friend’s couch) because Love blossoms awaits(cue epic music)!
