charmcity070808.jpgThe Dairyland Dolls, Madison's all-star roller derby team, will take on the Charm City Roller Girls of Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday, July 19 at home.

The Dolls have had a busy summer so far, taking on Seattle, Chicago, Denver, Fort Wayne and Philly for an inter-league record of 3-2. Ranked #13 in the nation, Baltimore promises to be a pretty even opponent for Madison’s girls in gingham.

The bout is at Fast Forward Skate Center, 4649 Verona Rd., Madison. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The first jam starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available at Fast Forward Skate Center, Freedom/Knuckleheads, Capitol City Tattoo, Cha Cha Beauty and Barber, High Noon Saloon and Lakeside Press. You can also buy tickets online at madrollindolls.com.
Due to limited capacity, MRD urges fans to purchase tickets in advance. If tickets do not sell out, they will be available for sale at the door for $12.

Join the Dolls after the bout at the High Noon Saloon, 701A E. Washington Ave., for an
afterparty featuring Kickback, Fourth Year Freshman, and The Wanderers. The show is free with ticket stub, $5 without. A portion of the proceeds from the bout will be donated to the American Red Cross Badger Chapter.

The next home inter-league bout will be held August 30 against Burning River Roller Girls of Cleveland, Ohio. For more information on the inter-league schedule and the Dairyland Dolls, visit madrollindolls.com.

Mad Rollin' Dolls will also host the WFTDA Eastern Regional Tournament, "Derby in Dairyland," Oct. 10–12, at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center.
