Majestique is finally upon us! The Beggar's Carnivale will be at the Majestic tomorrow as the venue returns to its vaudeville/Red Light District roots for the second time this year. They'll be joined by Madison's Peach Pies Caberlesque and Ashar Dance Company starting at 8:30 p.m.
This weekend is big and important for Segredo as they host their official grand reopening. The venue has been undergoing some major renovations that expand its capacity, give it a larger stage for performances, and make its VIP room even more comfortable. Tonight they'll feature Jesse Marco & Kirill Was Here! as part of UW's Welcome Week with tomorrow being the actual grand reopening party featuring San Francisco's The M Machine.
Tonight the High Noon has a jam band/bluegrass extravaganza (jamgrass? blue jam?) with The Grasshoppers and The Naughty Bits sharing the stage starting at 9:30 p.m. Tomorrow it will be very loud starting at 8 p.m. with Jailbreak (Thin Lizzy tribute), White Trash Hot Rod, and Bes Monde.
The Frequency is also keeping it fliud and exciting both Friday and Saturday. Friday brings Baristacide, Sexy Ester, The Melismatics, and Lucrezio while Saturday will see Jucifer, Dick the Bruiser, and Agony Forge.
The Inferno will be showing a bias toward anyone showing up in underwear tonight with $1 off at the door. You can rock out in your unmentionables to The Faith Hills Have Eyes, Whiskey Pig, Pussy Vulturez, Tiger Clutch, and The Moguls. You can actually wear your lacy undies two nights in a row, because Saturday is the first Saturday of the month and of course that means Leather and Lace featuring DJs WhiteRabbit and Mike Carlson.
