PHOTOS: Screamin' Cyn Cyn & the Pons reunite for sweaty, frenetic show in Madison

Madison indie-queer-punk-dance-whatever outfit Screamin' Cyn Cyn and the Pons nearly took the roof off Mickey's Tavern on Thursday night for a one-off reunion show that got so hot and sweaty that drops of condensation hung from the ceiling by time the dust settled.
The band, together since 2002, played their mostly final show last December shortly before singer/keyboardist Shane O'Neill picked up stakes and moved to New York, where he's since made a name for himself under the solo act name of Shane Shane.
O'Neill was back in town to officiate at the wedding of longtime friend and Pons bandmate Cynthia Burnson, and the group decided to throw a one-off reunion show while he was here.
Opening bands Cowboy Winter and the Hussy built momentum for what eventually became a tightly packed sea of slam dancing and revelry that involved at least one incident of bar-diving and crowd surfing, courtesy of Bobby Hussy.
