The Majestic continues to reign on King Street with their third street party. Tonight features Mat Kearney, Kiernan McMullan, and DJ Nick Nice. Starts at 5 p.m.

You can keep the outdoor music going by heading down to the UW-Memorial Union terrace for Japan's most famous punk band Shonen Knife. The band is touring behind their 18th studio album. They'll be joined, starting at 9:30 p.m. by White Mystery.

dane101 music writer alum Brett Newski is bringing his new band The Corruption to Dragonfly Lounge at 9:30 p.m. He'll be joined by Sexy Ester and The Living Statues.

Tomorrow the world will be watching a Cold War match as Russia's Maria Sharapova battles U.S.'s Serena Williams for the gold medal in tennis. Tonight you can watch the band Tennis at the High Noon Saloon. The show starts at 9:30 p.m. and will be opened by Brokeback and Sat. Nite Duets

The Project Lodge has Austin's Technicolor Hearts with Treefort and Problem Child starting at 7:30 p.m.

The Earthlings invade The Rigby at 10 p.m.

Club Inferno unleashes a second episode of Attack of the Bass at 10 p.m. with DJs DarkStarr, Decode, Joey P, Audek & Rsier, Denzer, and MSP.

Chaos Revolution Theory is releasing a new album at The Frequency with assistance from Sky Road Fly and Helliphant. The show starts at 9:30 p.m.

A 7:30 p.m. show at the Project lodge will feature Oedipus Tex, Pushmi-Pullyu, Jackraasch, and Adelyn Rose.

Samba Summerfest will have the High Noon shaking it's western-themed booty with Handphibians, West African Dance of Madison, El Clan Destino, and Evolucao Dance Company starting at 9:30 p.m.

The High Noon also has an intimate and seated early show featuring Mindy Smith and Rosi Golan. Starts at 6 p.m.

The Majestic pays a special tribute to MCA of the Beastie Boys with an old school hip-hop edition of 80s vs. 90s starting at 9 p.m.
