I was worried the wind and the background noise were going to make this incomprehensible. Thankfully, that doesn't seem to be the case (now, us talking over one another may be another story). :)

Derby

I was worried when I almost reached the end of the podcast and there was no talk of roller derby. Hopefully part 2 makes it up today.

Fear Not

The Derby was discussed at length, with great input from their announcers. I am sure our faithful and tireless leader will post that part of the podcast when he can. Patience! (hey, where were you, anyway? we missed you!)

Considering the amount of

Considering the amount of us, I actually thought we did a pretty good job at not talking over each other too much. The weird thing was all the laughter in the background, from the other patrons, while discussing the Zimmerman case.

As for my extra hard critique of Broadjam, I just read The Isthmus article about Roy Elkins, the owner of Broadjam, and I was very pleased with his understanding of the current problems that people have with the site. So as I still stand behind my opinion stated in the podcast, I am optimistic that some of these major problems will be corrected by next year.

I think I would rather just bitch about it and not have any solutions. That's just how I roll.
