A house fire at 123 North Bedford Street has gutted a home and left one dead. According to news reports from WISC:

This is the second fire in Madison in less than two weeks that has involved student residents.

On November 10 firefighters were called to 505 N. Carroll Street for a fire on the sixth floor. No injuries were reported but damage was reported throughout the entire building amounting to an estimated $206,000.
