Ok, this is the 2nd time so I'm not as articulate but...
Season One lovers, what are you smoking? Sure, there are some memorable episodes from Season One and the animation is oh-so-cute lo-fi squiggle-vision (I know, I know, it's not really Squigglevision(tm) but you get my point). But if you really think about it, the reason the episodes from season one are memorable is because we've all seen them a million times.
Now take Season 7 in comparison. There are some really great, laugh-out-loud episodes like Lisa the Vegetarian. Just thinking about that episode makes my stomach hurt actually.
Of course I own Season 1 on DVD and even bust it open and watch it every now and then but I don't really find myself laughing too much at the jokes. It's more of a remember how the simpsons used to be warm and fuzzy feeling that I get.
