On this date in 1983 the Apple Lisa, the first commercial personal computer from Apple Computer, Inc. to have a graphical user interface and a computer mouse, is announced (it sold for $9,995 and had 1 meg of RAM; commercial starring Kevin Costner here)

* Live from Allied Drive: It is cold, cold, cold outside! Whenever we have inclement weather, I always think of all the people out here who do not have cars and walk in the cold to Cub Foods when they are in need of groceries.

* Daily Mitzvah: The extreme cold is the primary topic of conversation today here in the region, so I gave a little extra contribution to Keep Wisconsin Warm this morning.
