JibJab has a new feature where you can cast people in the Star Wars films. We thought it would be amusing to cast members of city leadership in the roles. Deciding on who to insert in each role was tough because we wanted to use color photos and we were limited by alders who have decent color photos online; surprisingly few do. We ended up with Alder Bryon Eagon as Luke Skywalker (because he is young and still learning how to use his powers on the council), Alder Bridget Maniaci was chosen via six-sided die for the role of Princess Leia, and Alder Mike Verveer beat out Tim Bruer for the role of Han Solo simply because we couldn't find a good enough photo of Bruer. Finally, we ended up casting Mayor Dave Cieslewicz as Lando Calrissian, because Calrissian is the Baron of Cloud City and plays a similar administrative role. What would you do differently? Obviously, we were limited by the face options provided on the JibJab website, but what about other characters?
