Bike Porn Tour is coming tomorrow

After much speculation as to when and where it would be happening, we are finally excited to unload that the Bike Porn tour arrives in Madison tomorrow at 1151 East Johnson Street. Emily turned us on to the tour back in February and since then we've been kept in a frustrating state of speculation wondering if the big night would ever happen. The showing will be preceded by a bike ride starting at the end of State Street in the shadow of the Capitol at 8 p.m. That will be followed by the official screening at 9 p.m. While there is no cover, donations are encouraged. Emily wrote of the event:

"You know how the saying goes: You can love your bike, just don’t love your bike. Well, tell that to the folks behind “Bike Porn 3,” a movie that is exactly what the title suggests. Part DIY pornography, part hipster fetishism, “Bike Porn 3” will be rolling its sticky tires into Madison on May 4 as part of its Backlash Tour.

The idea for mixing a passion for the velocipede with a love for skin flicks came from Portland, Oregon-based ordained minister, filmmaker, and bike activist Reverend Phil Sano. The movie, though, is a collection of short films submitted by different filmmakers with different takes on the central theme." Extremely not safe for work trailer below:
