Advertising on Dane101

Regular readers may have noticed some new advertising here on Dane101. We've recently started using Project Wonderful to sell advertising space. This new model is great for us, since it lets us make money on advertising without having to sell the ads ourselves or manage putting them up and taking them down. We believe it'll also be good for advertisers.

Project Wonderful has a unique way of charging for advertising. Rather than having us specify a price which you have to pay or not, you name the price you think is fair. Whoever's currently the highest bidder is the one who gets the ad spot. As the advertiser, you have complete control over your bids, how long the ads run and can increase your bid or pull an ad at any time.
